GEIR Annual General Meeting – March 2026
GEIR members gathered in Brussels on 25 March 2026 for the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which provided a strong and forward‑looking platform for discussion and exchange.
During the meeting, members discussed GEIR’s activities and ongoing initiatives, with a strong focus on key policy developments at EU level. Discussions centered on the European Commission’s forthcoming Circular Economy Act and GEIR’s contribution to the consultation process, underlining the strategic importance of re‑refining in achieving a resilient and competitive circular economy by 2030. Members further exchanged updates on economic, political, and industry developments in their respective countries.
The AGM also marked the official welcome of two new members, KS‑Recycling GmbH & Co. KG and SÜDÖL Mineralöl‑Raffinerie GmbH. Their addition further strengthens GEIR’s representation of the re‑refining sector across Europe and reinforces its position as the leading voice of the industry.
The next GEIR Annual General Meeting will take place in Brussels on 1-2 September 2026.
